Students who demonstrate appropriate social skills in the classroom are better positioned to benefit from academic instruction. Setting clear expectations and routines, positive reinforcement and feedback, and high rate of opportunities are empirical ways to improve social and academic success in the classroom. In this session, attendees will learn a variety of evidence-based classroom management strategies they can use to enhance social and academic success.
